In the walks described on this site, nearly all of the walking is straightforward, and along well established paths and roads. The cliff paths of course have gradients and often passages of steps. The other lower level areas around the coast are often suitable for push chairs, bicycles etc. Indeed there are good cycling paths along the west coast from Grandes Rocques northwards, and along the east coast from St Peter Port to St Sampsons.

However in all cases I must stress that if you do any of the walks described on this site then this is entirely at your own risk, and I can accept no responsibility whatsoever for any accidents or problems, however caused.

Please also note that some of our Guernsey cliffs are crumbling and treacherous. Never attempt to climb on our cliffs away from established paths, unless you have experienced local guidance.

In a few instances in these walks I have suggested optional detours (described as for "the more agile") which are away from the established paths. I have personally done all these detours a few times. Nevertheless, in these cases form your own opinion of the quality of the rock crossed, and if you undertake any of these detours this is also entirely at your own risk.
