A fishing boat leaves St Peter Port Harbour

early on a summer's morning.

Welcome to my pages of Guernsey walks, plus a few other things.

Guernsey has been my home for most of the years since 1947. If you want lots of factual stuff about us, you can get this from other sites, which can be easily found using a search engine. Suffice to say here that we are part of the Channel Islands (Les Isles de la Manche or Les Isles Anglo-Normandes) which lie in the English Channel west of the Cherbourg Peninsular and north of Brittany.

This website was a project to help to keep me amused in retirement, and all the walks are freely available for personal use, including download and printing. (Anybody wishing to make commercial use of any of the material should note that the text, and most of the pictures, are my or my wife's copyright, and should contact us initially via the comments page.)

This site contains links to a number of other web sites which may be of interest. I have of course visited all these sites myself, most of them many times. However I cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for the contents of any of these other sites.
